TRISTAN MACMANUS

Tristan MacManus is best known for his professional appearances on the US version of Dancing with the Stars, BBC TV’s Strictly Come Dancing< and, currently, as a Judge on Dancing with the Stars Australia. Tristan began dancing in his hometown of Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland, before moving on to dance competitions around Europe, eventually winning numerous juvenile, junior and amateur competitions.

After appearing in an uncredited dance role in the 2004 movie Ella Enchanted, he performed in theatre productions throughout Ireland, most notably in the Cork City Opera House and The Gaiety Theatre, including Bryan Flynn's production of Oliver!.and Aladdin, among others. Next, he joined the UK tour of Simply Ballroom/i> and, after a successful tour in London and Las Vegas, went on to Australia and America where he toured as a featured dancer with the legendary dance production Burn The Floor.

After numerous world tours with Burn the Floor he returned to Europe to join the cast of Dirty Dancing as Dance Captain. MacManus made his first appearance on the twelfth season of Dancing with the Stars as part of the "dance troupe," performing multiple dances during the results shows.

In the show's thirteenth season he returned to compete as a dance-pro partner. Tristan remained with DWTS through Season seventeen, before transferring to Strictly Come Dancing, based in London for a further two Seasons. In 2017, he went on tour with Mrs Brown's Boys for the Good Mourning Mrs Brown Live 2017 playing Elder Peach.

Following the years Judging role with DWTS on the Ten Network, Tristan will tour Australia in May as a Special Guest with Burn the Floor
, and subsequently in July play the role of Prince in the panto Snow White at the Western Sydney Coliseum in July

MacManus is married to Australian actress Tahyna Tozzi.
